The Yellow Deuce™ is a free, curriculum-aligned educational program offering middle and high school students a structured, experiential learning opportunity on the Normandy battlefields. Conducted aboard a restored American school bus, the program is led by qualified educators and historians and may include rare firsthand testimony from some of the last surviving veterans.

CONNECTING GENERATIONS
Explore the defining events of World War II through an immersive, full-day educational program centered on the United States’ role in the liberation of Normandy. Developed in partnership with The Greatest Generations Foundation, this initiative is designed exclusively for school groups and delivered aboard a restored American school bus. Led by experienced educators, the program combines site visits, historical interpretation, and structured activities. Offered at no cost, it ensures equitable access while fostering informed understanding and respectful commemoration of the sacrifices and enduring legacy of World War II veterans.

In June 1944, French resistance groups helped the Allies invade Normandy. The Resistance sabotaged German war efforts and gave the Allies intelligence on German defenses.
